In Support of Guide Dogs For The Blind

All plans now in place for this year’s event and it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than last year. There’s over 40 stalls covering a wide spectrum from pet related, local crafts, hair & beauty right through to hot tubs. There’s also a range of items to keep the trainee hoomans interested with smashing amusements, a football dartboard competition, Find the Breed competition and Crazy Corin, a children’s entertainer who will keep them amused, but you will have to reclaim them – sorry!

There will be a range of vintage military jeeps, to explore and an ‘active’ police car that everyone can sit in without being arrested! To keep you fed and watered, we have The Galloping Tap licenced bar, slushies (including alcohol versions – Yum!) from Norfolk ‘n’ Good, cakes and barista coffees from Cakes & Catering by Lauren Jade with the infamous Freddie, a delicious assortment of burgers from Get Ya Baps Out, Jacket Spuds and Toasties from Kirstys Kitchen as well as Ice Creams including Doggy Ice Cream

This year, weather permitting, we hope to have a flypast by up to three vintage Piper aircraft built between 1961 and 1980 kindly arranged by David Harris of AvTOR Aviation, a key supporter of this year’s event. There’s also a special raffle to win a 40 minute experience flight in one of them.

Other activities and displays include a dance display performed by children from the Dance Base in Great Yarmouth, choreographed by Megan, a chance to throw custard pies and wet sponges at our very own Mr Fixit, Mr Tittervator, Mr Build It aka Steve whilst he is placed in stocks, that he built for himself….I know a bit weird 🤷‍♀️ However anyone can try them out for size and all monies raised from the stocks goes to the Guide Dogs. We’ve also got Harbour Radio attending and looking to broadcast live from the event. Perhaps with some encouragement we can get Big Nev, the CEO to try out the stocks for size……🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gates open at 10am with access to all stalls and attractions.

Crazy Corrin will be entertaining the kids from 12:00 till 4pm.

Fastest Zommie Competition (fastest recall in other words) takes place throughout the day and finishes at 3:30pm.

Event closes at 5pm.
