How can I make a booking?
On our bookings page, all you need to do is choose a date, select a time, enter your information and make an online payment. Please note we operate a 24hr clock (05:00 is 5am). If you want to book more than one session, click the ‘Add’ option; you may do this as many times as necessary to book multiple dates and times and then go through the payment process. – Simples!
In no time at all you will receive a confirmation email of the booking/s, the gate access code to enter the Hound Ground will follow in a separate email the day before your booking or within 15 minutes for a same day booking
PLEASE NOTE Once you have chosen your date and time and you have gone to the ‘Check Out’ page, DO NOT click the back button or browser if you want to add an additional date. Complete the check out process and then start a new booking process. If you do not complete the check out process and pay within 15 minutes, your selected booking date(s) will be returned as available for other Hoomans to book but you may still be charged.

What is the cost and duration of the sessions?
£5 per full 30 minutes for 1-3 four legged friends.
£8 per full 30 minutes for 4-6 four legged friends.
How can I pay?
Full payment is required at the time of booking, this can be by credit/debit card.

My dog is listed as a Dangerous Breed under the UK DDA – Can I still come to the Hound Ground?
Absolutely, however there are certain conditions that have to be met, please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.
Can I make reservations with friends?
Absolutely! You can schedule a time with friends or family but please remember there is a maximum of 6 four legged friends and there is only space in our car park for three vehicles. The individual making the reservation accepts the responsibility of making sure that all friends have up to date vaccinations and worming treatments (four-legged variety only) and will ensure that everyone in their party is informed of the rules.
However, should there be a special occasion that includes more than 6 paw friends, please contact us by phone or e-mail, we will be happy to discuss your requirements and will do our utmost to accommodate.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes, there is a ground reinforced parking area for 3 vehicles, with automatic lighting.
Parking is also available on Edward Road, but we discourage people from using this if at all possible, in order to avoid any potential road congestion. If you do park on Edward Road we respectfully ask that you do not park between the Hound Ground entrance and the junction with Hemsby Road.
Are there any toilets?
Yes there is a toilet in the car park area (for Hooman use only)
Is there access for wheelchairs?
Yes, the entrance gate to the Hound Ground has a ramp and is wide enough for wheelchair access. In dry weather, the ground although uneven is manoeuvrable by a wheelchair but we strongly advise that all wheelchair users are accompanied by a person that can assist.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
48hrs notice is required to cancel or reschedule your booking. You may cancel or reschedule your booking by calling 07562792353 or by email at info@wintertonhoundground.co.uk. Please quote your booking reference, date and time. If a cancellation or rescheduling is made 48 hours prior to the date and time of the scheduled slot a full refund will be given.
I have a dog walking service; am I allowed to let my clients’ dogs have fun on the Hound Ground?
Yes, you are more than welcome providing your clients (Hooman variety) are in agreement.
Is the keycode updated frequently?
The entry code is updated frequently, therefore it is the client’s obligation to ensure they are aware of it before arriving. The entry code will be e-mailed to you the day before your booking.
Can I select different times with different numbers of dogs under one booking?
The simple answer is no. Each individual booking must have the same number of paws. For example if you require a slot for 2 sets of paws on Monday at 8:30 and another for 3 sets of paws the following day at 9:05, these will have to be booked and paid for independently. Can I change the number of dogs after completing my booking?
Yes you can. We know that sometimes you may want friends or family to join you and why not? If the number of paws stays within or at the maximum number you have a slot for (up to 3 paws for £5 / 30 mins or up to 6 paws for £8 / 30 mins) then please just notify us by dropping us an email, sending us a quick text message or give us a quick call. If you have booked a slot but the extra paws takes you over the maximum allowed for the payment already made, then please call us on 07562792353 and we will be more than happy to assist.
